I am endlessly grateful for my doula, Tanesha Carney, whose wisdom, heart, and motherly instincts carried me through the most transformative experience of my life. From the moment she stepped into my home, she created an atmosphere of peace and empowerment, our living room became a sacred space filled with dim lights, affirmation cards, hanging lights, and warmth.

Tanesha guided me with gentle strength, teaching me breathing techniques, counter pressure, positions, how to use the yoga ball, and so much more. She equipped me with tools that made my dream of having a completely unmedicated, natural birth possible, tools we thoughtfully put together in my Birth Plan. She stayed with us late into the night, never leaving my side, offering comfort, encouragement, and unwavering presence.

When I reached 8–9 cm, we made our way to the birth center. With the support of my midwife, the steady strength of my partner, and the loving presence of Tanesha, my baby girl came into the world just as I had hoped and prayed.

Even after birth, she continued to pour into me with tips and reassurance that helped me find my confidence in breastfeeding and motherhood.

I truly cannot imagine this journey without her. Tanesha was not just my doula, she was my anchor, my guide, and my greatest advocate. Because of her, I was able to have the unmedicated natural birth I had always envisioned, and for that I am forever grateful. 💜✨

Nesha was great from start to finish!! I felt very supported and confident during my pregnancy. I had a natural vaginal birth and I don’t think I could’ve done it without her or my husband there. She is the best!! Also she encapsulated my placenta for me and the chocolates were so good!!! She will definitely be my doula again!!
